Once you have had a comprehensive induction period, shadowing both reactive and planned teams, you will become part of a maintenance team that provides vital support to the company's production/manufacturing. As part of your training, you will also go overseas and receive Level 1&2 accreditation for this.
You will be working on multimillion pound machinery only installed in the last 2 years and will have autonomy, great team support and colleagues to work with.

Your duties will include:
•Respond to equipment breakdowns and failures
•Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs to restore function
•Identify root cause of equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions
•Conduct repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
•Identifying recurring issues and recommend preventive 
•Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
•Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
•Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency
•Use Siemens and Schneider PLC controls
To be considered for this role you MUST:
•Have a positive attitude and good work ethic
•Have proven ability in this area of work and eager to learn new skills
•Possess good all-round knowledge of mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems
•Ideally have PLC, Robotic Automation & Rewinding experience
•Be able to troubleshoot / problem solve.
•Be an excellent verbal & written communicator 
•Be familiar with maintenance management software & tools
•Possess a Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline
•Hold a current FLT/MEWP licence
