This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes ethero’s slavery and human trafficking statement for 2025.

Our Business

ethero is a UK-based recruitment agency providing temporary and permanent employment solutions across various sectors, including manufacturing, commercial, agricultural, environmental, construction, and public sector roles. We operate throughout the UK and Europe, placing high-quality candidates into roles that match their skills and aspirations.

Our Policies

We have implemented several policies to ensure we conduct our business ethically and transparently. These include:

  • Modern Slavery Policy: Outlines our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Ethical Recruitment Policy: Ensures fair and ethical recruitment practices.
  • Whistleblowing Policy: Encourages employees to report any concerns related to modern slavery or unethical practices.
  • Ethical Trading Policy and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy: Sets out the standards we expect from our customers, including adherence to anti-slavery laws.

Due Diligence Processes

To identify and mitigate the risks of modern slavery, we have established the following due diligence processes:

  • Conducting and reviewing risk assessments to identify areas of our business and supply chains most at risk of modern slavery.
  • Auditing our processes and customers as applicable to ensure compliance with our Ethical Trading Policy and contractual agreements.
  • Training our staff to recognise the signs of modern slavery and understand the steps to take if they suspect it.

Training and Awareness

We provide training to all employees to ensure they understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking. This training includes:

  • Recognising the signs of modern slavery.
  • Understanding the steps to take if they suspect modern slavery.
  • Knowing how to report concerns.

Our Commitment

ethero is committed to continuously improving our practices to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. We will review and update our policies and procedures regularly to ensure they remain effective and aligned with best practices.

This statement has been approved by the Directors and will be reviewed and updated annually.

ethero’s full Modern Slavery Policy is formally reviewed annually by our senior management team and as an integral part of our ISO9001 certified Management Review process standards.
