Job Title: Skilled Butcher
Location: Derby (DE24)
Salary: £13.99 per hour (£32,736.60 per annum, based on 45 hours)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 5:00pm (weekend work may be required)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Key Duties:
Cutting and preparing meat products according to order and quality standards
Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards throughout your shift
Ensuring stock rotation is followed to minimise waste and maintain freshness
Following company procedures to prevent cross-contamination between raw and cooked products
Reporting any quality or equipment issues to your supervisor
Packing and scanning finished goods in a clean and accurate manner ready for dispatch
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in a butchery or meat processing environment
Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (training provided if needed)
Reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented approach
Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced, production-focused environment
