Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am 4:00pm (1-hour unpaid break)
Monday to Thursday, 8:00am 6:00pm & Friday's 7:00am 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid break)
Job Description:
We are seeking reliable Recycling Operatives to join a busy scrap metal merchant in Shepshed.
This role involves sorting and processing scrap metal, plastic, and other recyclable materials. The working environment can be noisy and dusty due to the nature of the business.
This position does not involve heavy lifting but requires the ability to work efficiently in these conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sorting and processing recyclable materials including scrap metal and plastics
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area
Requirements:
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
• Good attitude and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in recycling or warehouse work is a plus but not essential
