Machine Operator

Required Manual Lathe Turner

Experienced is essential

Days Monday to Friday

Pay Rate from 15.00 per hour up to 17.00 per hour DOE

Roles and Responsibilities

• Hand loading parts and/or material
• Hand feeding tools as required
• Inspecting parts during production using various types of gaging devices such as comparators, hand mikes, plug and depth gages
• Making machine and tooling adjustments necessary to maintain print specifications
• Resharpening and replacing tools, raking chips, sanding faces, adding coolant
• Utilizing various industrial tools and being responsible for the set up and operation of Manual Machining Equipment in tight tolerances
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area and performing a variety of duties including grinding, de-burring, cleaning of parts, cutting and removal of scrap
• Calibrating and operating a manual lathe machine or grinder, which is used to cut, sand, knurl, drill, face, and turn materials
