FLT Counterbalance with Clamp Operator
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of FLT Counterbalance with Clamp Operator with immediate start fr the right candidate.
Location: Croft - LE9
Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and daily safety checks
- Report any health and safety concerns
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, keeping work areas clean
- Operate a forklift counterbalance with a clamp attachment
- Ensure quality control of products
- Work efficiently to meet production targets
- Be responsible for manufacturing assets, including materials, equipment, and storage areas
- React promptly to breakdowns, liaising with maintenance and assisting as required
- Perform regular plant inspections and maintenance routines
- Maintain cleanliness of the plant, equipment, and surrounding areas
- Work on a three-shift rotating pattern: days, afternoons, and nights
Minimum Requirements:
- Must hold a valid, accredited CB licence
- Previous experience using a CB forklift with clamp is essential
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems efficiently
- Positive attitude towards change and process improvements
Working Hours:
06:00 AM - 14:15 PM
14:00 PM - 22:15 PM
22:00 PM - 06:15 AM
Pay rate - £15 per hour
Overtime paid after 41.25 hours at x1.5 rate
