Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST6

Sector: Ceramics
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.71 per hour: PAYE

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-focused Lithographer to join our manufacturing team based in Stoke-on-Trent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for lithographing Cups and Mugs with high-quality printed designs and artwork, ensuring all work meets the required quality, colour, and production standards. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of lithographic printing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and lithographic Fine Bone China, Mugs and Cups safely and efficiently.

Ensure accurate colour reproduction and registration throughout the print process.

Monitor print quality and adjust maintain consistent standards.

Carry out regular quality checks and identify any defects or inconsistencies.

Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.

Follow production schedules and achieve required output and quality targets.

Identify and report faults or changes in requirements.

Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve any issues.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Follow all company health & safety procedures and production guidelines.

 

About You: The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working as a Lithographer

Good knowledge of lithographic printing processes and equipment.

Strong attention to detail, particularly around colour, registration and print quality.

The ability to work accurately and consistently to production requirements.

Good problem-solving and practical skills.

The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider production team.

A positive attitude and reliable approach to work.

Good awareness of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.

 

Desirable

Experience within ceramics, packaging, print or a similar manufacturing environment.

Experience working with specialist printing processes or decorative printing.

Relevant technical or vocational qualifications.

Experience working to tight production deadlines.
