Sales Team Leader
If you would like to work for a niche business with an excellent client base and where there is a great deal of potential business nationwide, this is the role for you. You will have support, training and development from the SMT and be able to put your stamp on the role and business. This is an important role for the company as they are expanding throughout 2024 and need to find someone as passionate about their product and services as they are.
Job role / duties
•Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of Business Development Executives to achieve individual and collective targets.
•Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective business development strategies aligned with company goals.
•Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
•Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
•Set and monitor individual and team sales targets, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent achievement.
•Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the business development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
•Generate regular reports on team performance, market trends, and progress towards business development goals for presentation to senior management.
To be considered for this role you MUST:
•Have a higher level education, ideally business led
•Be a proven business developer with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
•Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team.
•Be an exceptional written & verbal communicator
•Be strategy focused and a problem-solver
•Understand the Education sector
•Be proficient with Back Office and CRM software
