Sales Engineer
North East
Circa £40,000 (six figure OTE) plus car, excellent bonus structure & company benefits

If you would like to represent a business with a solid reputation and whose product range can be found in multiple sectors globally, this is the role for you.

Your objective will be to advance activity in the North East where you will focus on new business generation predominantly within pharma/food processing industries

Job role duties

•Assess sales database to identify lapsed and prospect potential
•Identify new areas of BD and focus objective on this
•Liaise with SMT on sales & budget focus
•Report monthly as to actual and potential
•Develop strategic commercial relationships with current key accounts
•Work with Marketing & other department leads to ensure sales channels are maximised
•Ensure clear communication with Engineering, manufacturing & design teams regarding new enquiries and existing client request
•Maximise database utilisation

To be considered for this role you MUST:

•Have a solid mechanical engineering bias and ideally have a qualification in this area
•Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
•Have a proven sales track record within food and or pharma processing industries
