Purchasing Manager

Burslem, ST6

Role and key responsibilities for our Purchasing Manager:

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure high service levels and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Analyse and report on procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and lead times.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet the company's needs and objectives.

Minimum Requirements for our Purchasing Manager:

  • Analytically minded with excellent decision making and problem solving skills
  • Purchasing in a Manufacturing environment
  • CIPS qualified
  • Previous knowledge of Google suite would be advantageous
  • Enineering or Design understanding
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads

Pay rate: £35-£45k per annum

Working hours:
Monday to Thursday
07:00 - 16:00
Friday
07:00 - 15:00
