Account & Production Manager
Telford site based
Monday Friday
0700-1500/0800-1600
Circa £32,000 plus benefits

If you are adept with managing both customer and colleague expectations alike and an exceptional communicator with a background in electronics, this position is ideal. Working for an expanding business where you can use your skills in bringing people and process together to ensure high standards of customer service and increased business levels, you will be encouraged to think on your feet and work autonomously.

Job role / duties

•Manage the day-to-day commercial relationship with the OEM client as directed
•Proactively work with client to maintain a consistent high level of service delivery
•Produce monthly forecasting of production plans as driven by the client and highlight areas of concern
•Monitor production performance and report daily, weekly and monthly
•Identify and instigate opportunities for improvement
•Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on day-to-day production planning
•Maintain SOPs for production operations, ensuring effective communication with staff on all matters
•Provide technical support for OEM client related issues
•Accurately maintain & update the operator system relating to client owned stock
•Organize ease of counting for quarterly audit by customer
•Complete reporting using excel
•Ensure that all parts and consumables stored are dealt with as per company procedure.
•Ensure all tasks are completed within target times.
•Take responsibility for all staff recruitment, sickness and holidays within the Production department
•Carry out appraisals for all staff where applicable.
•Ensure all staff are trained in the skills needed to achieve high standards of safety, effectiveness, productivity and job satisfaction, and to achieve business objectives.
•Ensure the planning, recruitment, induction, welfare, discipline and establishment of pay rates for staff.

To be considered for this role you MUST:

•Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
•Have advanced IT & reporting ability
•Be used to hight level OEM communication
•Have proven project management ability
•Have account managed and OEM previously
•Be able to manage effectively
