UK Customer Service Supervisor
Shrewsbury
Up to £27k basic

Our prestigious client based in Shrewsbury is recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to join their successful customer service team.
They are looking for a candidate with strong supervisory/ management background to work in a busy Customer Service environment.They require a proven track record in building and managing highly engaged operational teams and hitting operational KPIs.

Job Role:

•Reporting directly into the European Customer Service Manager
•Experience Customer Service Supervisor running a team of circa 10 reports in a busy office environment
•Essential to have a solid and strong level of experience of team management, getting your team engaged to perform to new targets and work towards new operational standards
•Have proven ability to introduce new Customer Service based targets, implement new systems and procedures with existing technology
•Creating and delivering new reports focused on call times, call targets, customer satisfaction etc
•Identifying areas of development and putting corrective actions in place
•Identifying issues with the department and offering solutions to the management team to improve output as a whole
•Must have a hands on approach with your team and be seen to be doing
•Track record of up-selling to customers and getting the team to deliver on sales targets
•High level of Customer Service focus and a calm approach to dealing with complaints
•Involvement in marketing including eBay/Shopify/Amazon listings
•Ensure team training is delivered
•Conducting monthly one to one meetings with team members
•Continually identifying team priorities on a daily basis

Skills, Abilities, Personal Attributes:

•Professional, organised and commercially savvy
•Customer centric mind set
•Able to communicate effectively, show empathy, patience and remain calm, adopt a positive attitude to difficult situations and working under pressure
•IT literate, confident working on Sage, Magento and Bespoke Internal systems
•Able to plan and utilise resources effectively
•Confidently able to deal with people at all levels in a timely and efficient manner
•Creative problem solver with strong planning and decision-making skills
•Flexible approach to working hours, willing to work weekends if/when required
•Equivalent of University Degree or equivalent desirable experience
•Experience working for a lifestyle/consumer brand preferred but not essential
