Business Development Manager
Home office / UK travel
circa £40,000 plus excellent benefits and open-ended commission

They have a strong reputation for product quality & service, employee over 1000 people worldwide, have a healthy turnover and will offer full training at their manufacturing plant in Europe.

Job role/duties

•Build relationships with new, existing and lapsed end users
•Take the opportunity to sell into Contractors & Architects
•Attend sales meetings in order to present products and services
•Keep the CRM updated
•Call, email and visit existing account clints in order to build on existing spend by demonstrating NPD & services
•Ensure strong communication with SMT and all internal departments
•Work closely with accounts team on invoicing and customer set up
•Ensure timely and accurate reporting into the MD / SMT
•Ensure product marketing is specific and accurate
•Attend Head Office meetings in Europe when required for training & development purposes
•Attend trade shows and exhibitions

To be considered for this role you MUST

•Have a sound engineering/technical background and an understanding of electrical control systems
•Be experienced in the sales of Industrial high-speed doors
•Have exceptional written & verbal communication skills
•Be highly numerate & literate
•Have advanced IT skills, (ideally with SAP)
•Be a strong project manager
•Have account management experience
