Business Development Manager
Shropshire base with UK travel
Circa £38,000 plus car allowance and good benefits/bonus package

Job role / duties

•Maintain & develop relationships with existing customers within your territory
•Ensure an understanding of the company's capability, the competition and its position in the sector
•Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new partnerships or new products and services
•Contact prospect clients through social media, phone, email or direct face to face contact
•Deliver presentations to new & existing clients
•Attend industry events and exhibitions
•Ensure awareness developments in the industry
•Collaborate with wider Sales, marketing and SMT to achieve shared goals.
•Keep CRM updated
•Use MRP system to quote and forecast
•Provide support and guidance to other colleagues within the team
•Maintain effective communication with customer services, web and distribution colleagues

To be considered for this role you MUST

•Possess a high standard of Numeracy & Literacy
•Be an excellent verbal & written communicator
•Have excellent presentation skills
•Possess proven business development skills
•Have advanced IT skills
•Be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate at all levels
•Be currently working in the sheet metal sub contract manufacturing industry or have knowledge of this business sector
